Complex Differences

Add the official Complex Differences to your Pilot Capabilities

Formal training is required for aircraft that have the following official differences from a basic aircraft:

  • Variable Pitch Propeller
  • Retractable Undercarriage
  • Turbo-charger or Super-charger
  • Tailwheel
  • Single Lever Power Control
  • Electronic Flight Instrument System (Glass Cockpit)

Using our cold-war vintage Yak52 aircraft, we can ensure you receive the necessary theory and flight training to become proficient in:

  • Variable Pitch Propeller
  • Retractable Undercarriage
  • Turbo-charger or Super-charger

Using our 1944 Piper Cub aircraft, we can ensure you receive the necessary theory and flight training to become proficient in:

  • Tailwheel

Which then allows you to convert to the fantastic AT-6C Harvard II right here at Anglian War Birds!

The remaining differences are not pertinent to War Birds, but we can still train you on them on our C182 and DA40 aircraft if you so wish.

Pre-Requisites
